Our Team

Janet Newcomer is a life-long Medina County resident. She grew up on a small family dairy farm in Chatham Township, and lives on what remains of that farm. A graduate of Cloverleaf and Kent State University, Janet began her career in business-to-business sales, and then moved into the non-profit sector.

Daniel Meagher is a native of Upstate New York, but has been a proud resident of Medina, Ohio since 2008. His previous experience with commercial and residential contracting has given him the skills to meet the logistical and organizational needs of Feeding Medina County.

Kelly Smith was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and has lived in Medina since 2013. She began her career with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Ohio, Kentucky & Indiana in 2001 as a Program Manager.

Christy Clark grew up in Copley, Ohio before attending The University of Akron where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications.  Previously, she worked at FirstEnergy Corp. in various roles including recruiting Line Workers and Substation Electricians as well as Product Development and Marketing.

Jeff Sottile was born and raised in Northeast Ohio. He is married and has six children, all of whom are grown and living out their own dreams. Jeff is also a proud grandparent of three amazing children, and he and his wife have one loyal dog and two rambunctious cats.
